Title: Microsoft .NET Integration with DB2 for i5/OS
Abstract: This course will discuss the basic concepts and components of the Microsoft .NET Framework. It also talks about what ADO.NET is and its object model. We will also talk about the four providers that can be used to access DB2 for i5/OS from .NET applications. The course then moves on to talk about how to create DataSets and DataTables and the new tool, DB2 Universal Database Development Add-Ins for Visual Studio .Net. This course concludes with a discussion on how to choose the correct .NET Provider for your needs.
