Karachi, 1 Dec 2007: Habib Bank Limited (HBL), one of the leading banks in Pakistan, has signed an agreement with IBM for System Administration and Operations of its server infrastructure. This will ensure a smooth and trouble free availability of its IT systems for its various online and business critical applications. Among these are the equation branch banking application that runs on the IBM System i, the new Credit Card application from CTL that runs on the IBM System p and a host of other applications that run on the IBM System x, BladeCenter and other Intel servers.
The quality of the services delivered by IBM has contributed to the extension and enhancement of this contract to all the server platforms in use at HBL, for a further period of two years.
