Ny funksjonalitet inkluderer blant annet:
Telelogic Change 5.0 gir globale utviklingsteam helhetlige og gjennomtestede utviklingsverktøy.

IBM Announces Enhancements to Telelogic Portfolio
New product capabilities support global collaboration and help organizations manage complexity within IT and engineering environments
ARMONK, N.Y., May 20, 2008 - - IBM (NYSE: IBM) today announced new enhancements to its Telelogic portfolio of software and systems development tools. IBM acquired Telelogic on April 3, 2008 to accelerate the innovation of products that rely on software.
The new features, planned prior to acquisition as part of Telelogic’s comprehensive set of offerings, will help organizations better manage their application development environments amidst rapidly changing market dynamics to deliver better products and systems to market faster. The new enhancements allow developers to work across global teams, cutting development time and cost.
“Today’s announcement signals continued progress in the existing Telelogic portfolio and IBM’s commitment to the current product set even after acquisition,” said Dr. Daniel Sabbah, general manager, IBM Rational software.
Software development is experiencing its own version of Moore’s Law, with customers reporting that the sheer volume of software in products and systems can double every 18 months. At the same time, software development has become increasingly de-centralized, with partners, subcontractors, offshore teams and outsourcing organizations all trying to work together more effectively. The enhancements to the Telelogic offerings help organizations meet the challenges associated with these trends and improve performance within their de-centralized IT and engineering environments.
“Customers need to respond proactively to the changing dynamics of their markets faster than their competitors,” said Ingemar Ljungdahl, Acting President and CEO, Telelogic, An IBM Company. “With these new enhancements from Telelogic, IBM is helping organizations turn change into a competitive advantage by adapting their systems and software development at the speed of global business, while ensuring control over the process and outcome.”
New software enhancements to Telelogic’s portfolio include:
Telelogic Change 5.0 allows global development teams to adopt consistent, proven processes as best practices as they move from project to project. Organizations can unite development teams around a single change management product, even if they use diverse configuration management solutions and are based around the world. This allows management to enforce common processes and collect consistent metrics, without the potential risk and burden associated with SCM tool migration. With Telelogic Change 5.0, organizations can manage and assess the impact of change to business processes, business strategy, and variation across product portfolios, enabling them to build better systems and software and bring them to market quickly.
Telelogic DOORS sets a new standard for managing requirements for complex systems and software projects. With DOORS, systems development teams can define, review, analyze and change requirements, trace progress toward goals, collaborate and validate results. New capabilities include a Rich Internet Application that promotes the review and discussion of requirements from anywhere in the world by providing Web access to the DOORS database, as well as new visual methods for managing complexity in requirements and their relationships. Through collaborative participation among business and development stakeholders, Telelogic DOORS helps ensure that complex systems and products meet the needs of customers, conform to requirements, and comply with regulations.
Telelogic System Architect/Change Integration plus Enhanced SOA Workflow represents a significant milestone in governance and change management for enterprise architecture and business process analysis projects. The integration between Telelogic System Architect and Telelogic Change offers an important layer of granularity for change management as well as a formal approach to governance for projects and related initiatives, including service-oriented architecture (SOA) and business process analysis.
In addition, through its enhanced integration between System Architect and Telelogic Tau®, Telelogic is taking the next steps to provide a model-driven workflow that helps customers implement an enterprise-wide approach to service oriented architecture (SOA).
Extended Defense Industry Support through new capabilities for defense agencies, contractors and system integrators. The new capabilities include an interface between Telelogic System Architect and Telelogic Rhapsody®, along with Rhapsody support for net-centric operations and the Ministry of Defence Architecture Framework (MODAF). Through these capabilities, Telelogic offers a seamless transition from ‘system of systems’ enterprise architecture through systems engineering and software development for both information systems, and real-time and embedded applications.
Telelogic Dashboard 3.5 improves decision-making by providing managers the project status and trend information they need to measure progress so that application development projects meet their goals. The new features available in Dashboard 3.5 help managers to easily work together on vital information across multiple projects.
Telelogic Rhapsody Updates, announced in April, will provide a new Telelogic Rhapsody-Eclipse Plug-in, due later this summer, to integrate Rhapsody into the Eclipse open-source development environment.
