IBM (NYSE:IBM) says a growing number of solution providers are favoring the company's Lotus Foundations hardware/software appliance over Microsoft (NSDQ:MSFT)'s Small Business Server (SBS), citing its self-managing capabilities, expandability and lower cost.
And while some may dismiss IBM's claims as marketing hype, interviews with a number of solution providers that carry both the Lotus and Microsoft products say there's some truth to IBM's assertions.
