With the implementation of IBM Tivoli Storage Manager Fastback solution to support its 160 end users, KARIN Group has speeded up the data recovery from days to minutes, anywhere in the organization, while at the same time reducing the amount of data at risk between backups to near zero. In one particular case when email information related to a sales quotation was accidentally deleted, KARIN Group's IT staff was able to recover the data within 30 minutes using IBM Tivoli Storage Manager Fastback, allowing the sales team to retain and quickly recover critical sales information.
