Global And Regional Industry Leaders To Meet At IBM CIO Conference

More than 1,000 CEOs and CIOs will share their expertise and vision for global and regional ICT challenges

Leaders of international and regional organizations will converge on Dubai’s Atlantis, Palm Jumeirah on the 19th October 2008 to share their expertise and vision at the annual IBM CIO Conference. Speakers from around the world including Forrester Research vice president and research director Connie Moore, United Bank of Switzerland’s member of the group managing board Rolf Olmesdah and senior executive teams from IBM’s EMEA and worldwide operations will be focusing on best practices, case studies and innovations that outline a truly strategic forward path for business processes and requirements.

The IBM CEO Global study, titled “The Enterprise of the Future” will also be shared and discussed during the conference. Resulting from face-to-face interviews with 1,130 CEOs across 40 nations in 32 industries, the study was designed to capture insights on how the challenges CEOs face today will impact the future of business.

Alongside this, a variety of topics including creativity, innovation and emerging technologies will be tackled by industry leaders from Banking and Healthcare to Telecommunications, Public Sector and Chemicals & Petroleum through the discussion sessions, presentations and research findings delivered to influential executives from across the region.
