The best performance is the one you can’t see

During the Australian Open, Tennis Australia’s data workload grows by over 100 times. A robust, security-rich environment from IBM allows them to manage this annual peak, while ensuring officials and fans have access to the right information when they want it.

First Mortgage Services shifts conveyancing from paper to the IBM cloud

Ten-year-old midsize company First Mortgage Services is doing for conveyancing what the government has already done for land title registration: eliminating the paper. With its web-delivered application for lawyers and lenders, First Mortgage Services are using IBM's Virtual Server Services to offer a paperless mortgage approval process that can significantly speed property transactions.

IBM's Maximo Asset Management software keeps Port's assets ship-shape

Port Taranaki needed to upgrade its asset management processes. It relied on a 20-year-old PC-based system for floating assets and paper records for shore-based equipment, in order to get a total view of the company's assets and inventory. The Port has deployed IBM's Maximo Asset Management system to take care of purchasing and inventory management of everything from ballpoint pens to forklift wheels and to manage maintenance of equipment for all civil, mechanical and marine operations.

Data that's easy to slice and dice

Senior finance managers at Teachers Credit Union wanted to automate importing data from the Core Banking system to TM1 to enable faster, better informed decision making. Teachers Credit Union chose to expand its use of IBM Cognos TM1 enterprise planning software for improved budgeting, forecasting and analysis.

Hutchinson Builders lifts software management with IBM Tivoli Endpoint Manager

Brisbane-based Hutchinson Builders could not easily track what software was installed on more than 550 computers across the company’s 16 offices and up to 160 construction sites, or how the software was being used. Nor could the company easily deploy software updates and patches across a number of third party products. Hutchinson Builders chose IBM Tivoli Endpoint Manager to quickly and simply manage its geographically dispersed network of desktop and laptop computers.

Edmund Rice Education Australia transforms student record management

The Edmund Rice Education Australia Flexible Learning Centre Network (EREA FLCN) manages enrolment and student information for over 500 students enrolled at 13 sites. A need for rapid online access to accurate status reports for all students was required, as the existing paper-based management system was causing delays and errors in managing sensitive student data. See how IBM Premier Business Partner* Cirrus Australia implemented a Lotus Notes solution providing tailored reporting to meet funding and government reporting requirements.
