Bogdan Balaci was appointed Country General Manager of IBM Romania starting January 1st, 2011.
He joined IBM in September 1999. His main experience is in sales area as he managed the Large Enterprise GB sales team and was Account Manager for banking in IBM Romania.
Prior to CGM position, Bogdan was: Territory Sales Manager in IBM Romania between July 2007–December 2010; GTS Manager in Romania between July 2006 - July 2007; Country Operations Manager between July 2005 - July 2006 and Large Accounts Manager between 2003 - 2005.
Prior to IBM, Bogdan developed IT solutions in the banking sector for ICL Romania during 1995-1999.
Bogdan graduated University of Bucharest, Physics Faculty in 1993, and was awarded with a MBA at Henley Management College UK in 2006. He also took several leadership and sales training abroad (Viena, London, Rome).
Bogdan is a motivated, ambitious and level-headed leader.
His ability for teamwork and leadership skills provides him the capacity to develop and sustain the most innovative and original ideas and projects.
