Donations of Lotus software are coordinated primarily through IBM Software Group. IBM Software
Group continues to research, develop, and produce new products and services. Inquiries about Lotus software not specifically mentioned here,
or in our application material, are always welcomed. All Lotus software products from IBM are compatible with each other as well as across
hardware platforms.
Donations of our collaboration and e-messaging product line (e.g. Notes, Domino, QuickPlace, and Sametime) include server and client
products. The application procedure for these products differs somewhat from applying for Lotus desktop (SmartSuite) products. To apply for
Notes, Domino, QuickPlace or SameTime, a written proposal must be submitted along with the completed application form.
Why the request for a written proposal? Our primary concern in assessing potential recipients is assurance the organization has the
capacity to install, maintain the system, train users, and design applications.
TO PARTICIPATE: To participate in the Lotus Software Donation Program, please send to us a completed Software Donation Application for
Desktop Productivity Products or Messaging and Collaboration Products. Applications are generally reviewed within six weeks from the date
received.
