Reinventing Education

New York State

In 1998, the New York State Education Department and IBM began working together through Reinventing Education to improve teacher professional development and instruction. Teachers are now using Riverdeep Learning Village to create standards-based lesson plans, which are juried by subject experts to ensure their quality and effectiveness before they are shared with other teachers through a statewide database.
