The Smarter Cities solutions zone is an area within the Industry Solution Center dedicated to cities and allowing to discover and exchange on the smarter cities agenda and IBM’s vision assess current and future city challenges and get insights about how technology can serve citizen’s needs. The objectives are to help governments and their eco-systems to transform their cities’ core systems for sustainable prosperity and to develop a more citizen-centric approach to services.

Several solutions are demonstrated through integrated prototypes based on real business scenarios and are showcased in simulated city environments. They address the different components of today’s cities like citizens, security, transport, etc..
