On August 13, 2012, U.S. Senator Michael Bennet of Colorado, visited IBM Boulder to tour its Command Center where IBM manages and integrates a wide range of customer computing needs, its Green Data Center, and a new hardware training center. IBM Boulder's Senior Location Executive, Pete Lorenzen, and IBM employees joined Senator Bennet on the tour.
