Overview
The
Emerging Policy Issues team works to operationalize one of IBM's core
values—Innovation that Matters! Specifically, the Emerging Policy
Issues team leverages the inherent public policy expertise and
political insight within Governmental Programs to identify the
toughest, most challenging social and economic policy issues facing
governments and societies today. We then work to determine whether IBM
is in a position to help overcome these challenges and, if so, how!
The team is comprised of Governmental Programs Staff that are
located around the world. We are currently working on projects related
to the fields of health care, energy and utilities, traceability as
well as the Single Euro Payment Area.
