U.S. Congressman Ron Klein visits IBM Boca Raton

IBM Governmental Programs is working closely with Members of Congress to raise their awareness of the critical role the services industry plays in the U.S. economy. Over half of IBM's revenue is generated in the services sector. Services accounted for roughly 77% of the U.S. private sector employment in 2006. With today's fast changing economy, IBM's technology services are in high demand and IBM's services and technology are enablers of our service sector clients’ competitiveness. U.S. Congressman Ron Klein visited IBM Boca Raton on July 3, 2007 to discuss the services industry in Florida and to learn how IBM is leading in this area.

Please see this statement (PDF, 17KB) the Congressman presented to the U.S. House of Representatives highlighting the services industry and referencing IBM's activities.
