IBM is a member of the Wildlife Habitat Council (WHC), a nonprofit, nonadvocacy group of corporations, conservation organizations and individuals dedicated to protecting and enhancing wildlife habitat. The WHC helps large landowners, particularly corporations, manage their unused lands in an ecologically sensitive manner for the benefit of wildlife.
Seven IBM sites have had their land management and wildlife habitat programs certified by the Wildlife Habitat Council including:
