Amr Ghoneim was born on 23 January 1962, in Cairo, Egypt, is married and has one girl and a boy.
He studied Engineering in Cairo University and obtained a Bachelor Degree from the faculty of Engineering in 1984.
Amr joined IBM in 1988 and held various positions, he started as a Sales Representative, then Marketing Manager for Government Sector.
Since 2001, he was appointed Manager of Sales, IBM Egypt.
