Installing and configuring JDBC

This section describes the procedures to install and configure JDBC. You can have only one JDBC driver installed on your system at a time. If you need a different driver, you must remove the installed driver before you install the correct one.

After installation, when you run an application that tries to use JDBC, you are prompted for a value called Class Name. For the IBM® Netezza® Driver, enter org.netezza.Driver.
