| | Eric Herber is involved with Informix technology since 1989. He started his professional career as a support engineer with a German Informix distributor. He made a side trip to technical marketing before joining Informix Software Inc. as an Advanced Support Engineer working onsite at SAP in 1994. |

| | Since 1996 Eric is working as an independent Consultant specialising in IBM Informix database technology. He has written several articles about IDS as well as a German Informix book. In 2008 Eric received the IIUG Directors Award from the International Informix User Group. |
