 As a result of a change to the AIX Service Strategy, certain levels of RSCT are only available from Fix Central as part of a Technology Level.
  
 RSCT 2.4.8.0 is included in AIX 5300-07 Technology Level.  While Fix Central forces the download of the Technology Level to obtain RSCT 2.4.8.0, the actual installation process does still allow individual fixes to be installed.
  
 RSCT PTFs that are not included in an AIX Technology Level are still available for individual download from Fix Central.
  
 The changes to the AIX Service Strategy are described in a document at the 'Service and support best practices' page, at [http://www14.software.ibm.com/webapp/set2/sas/f/best/home.html] From the Best Practices page, select the "Fix Central changes supporting AIX Service Strategy" document.
