WebSphere Fast Track for SOA

The WebSphere Fast Track for SOA conference has been renamed to IBM Impact.

Original Posting

At WebSphere Technical Exchange 2006, IBM announced a new conference: WebSphere Fast Track for SOA.

Details on the flyer they handed out:

  • May 20-25, 2007
  • Marriott World Center, Orlando FL (USA)
  • Please join us for our first ever WebSphere Worldwide Conference combining WebSphere Technical Exchange with Transaction and Messaging Technical Conference


Analysis


So, IBM is combining together most (all?) of its WebSphere conferences--WebSphere Technical Exchange and the Transaction and Messaging Conference, both the American and European versions (that's 3-4 conferences total)--sprinkling SOA all over it, and going to Disney World. (The Marriott says "We are only 1.5 miles from Walt Disney World.")

IBM doesn't seem to have this posted on their Web site yet, but when they do, details will follow.
