IBM SOA Quality Management

SOA Quality Management (SOA-QM) is an aspect of IBM SOA Governance; IBM sees SOA-QM as the way get business and IT working together to make IT align with the business (a key goal of SOA).

Here's the definition:

SOA Quality Management is the process to verify services meet functional and operational business requirements

SOA-QM is part of each phase of the SOA Lifecycle: Model, Assemble, Deploy, and Manage.

Products

Rational has two new products specifically for SOA-QM:

  • Rational Tester for SOA Quality
  • Rational Performance Tester Extension for SOA Quality
