Tivoli OMEGAMON XE for Mainframe Networks V4.2.0 Fixpack 1 Overview

The Tivoli OMEGAMON XE for Mainframe Networks V4.2.0 Fixpack 1 is now available. This Fixpack delivers advanced diagnostics capabilities, including:

  • New TakeAction commands for Tracerte and NSLookup
  • Improved memory use information for Page Fixed CSM memory and TCPIP memory
  • Links from OSA interface metrics to device metrics
  • The ability to launch into zNetView's Packet Trace in the context of a specific connection
  • Samples demonstrating how situations can be used to trigger zNetView automation
