Determining IBM GSKit Fixpack Level

The later versions of GSKit (v6 and v7) provide a version utility called gsk6ver/gsk7ver. It will produce a detailed list of every component in the installed gskit, which includes a V.R.M.L number for the component:

The number after * @(#)ProductVersion* is the version data support will want. In the case above, it is 5.0.5.15. This version 5e, build 15. The date of the build is after ProductInfo as yy/mm/dd.

Note that you may have multiple gskit's installed as many products, such as ITDS, HTTP server and TAM, install gskit.
