Netcool/Security Manager installation prompts
TBSM and Netcool/OMNIbus use the Netcool/Security Manager to configure user authentication and usage roles. When you install the Netcool/Security Manager software, you need to enter the information in this table. Follow the screens of the installation wizard or prompts in atext console installation.
Note: For localhost to work correctly in TBSM 4.1.1 on UNIX hosts, the /etc/hosts file needs to be configured so that when you ping localhost, you get the computer's IP address, not 127.0.0.1.
