TBSM V4.1.1 installation user
The installation user is the person who installs products in the TBSM program suite. The installation user must install every TBSM product as the same system user. Once you have installed a Netcool product using a certain user account, you must use this same user account to install, uninstall, or modify every subsequent Netcool product on that system.
On UNIX® systems, the TBSM installation user can be any user on the system, except for the root. If you install the TBSM software or other products as the root user ID, you should be aware of security issues related to the use of root when installing software on UNIX systems. You should install and run TBSM software products as a non-root user.
On Windows® systems, the TBSM V4.1.1 installation user can be any user on the system that is a member of the Administrators group.
