This version can be installed on ObjectGrid version 6.1.0.1 or 6.1.0.2.

To install this version:

1. Install IBM WebSphere Extended Deployment Data Grid Version 6.1
2. Download and install IBM WebSphere Extended Deployment Data Grid Version 6.1 Fix Pack 1 (6.1.0.1)
3. Download and install cumulative fix 1 for ObjectGrid v6.1.0.2 (6.1.0.2 FIX1, XD_ObjectGrid_06-03-2008_6.1.0.2-6.1.0.1_cumulative_Fix )

Bug fixes

• Entity operations may be lost with large transactions — When persisting, removing or updating large quantities of entities in a single transaction, the entity state may be lost.
• EntityManager flush does not mark transaction to roll back — When a EntityManager.flush operation is invoked and a PersistenceException is thrown, the transaction is not marked to roll back.
• Loader plug-in instance is incorrectly created for clients — Loaders are incorrectly instantiated for clients.
• NullPointerException in ProjectorImpl during find — A java.lang.NullPointerException may be thrown when finding an entity that has a missing entity reference.
• Unable to start catalog service cluster in WebSphere Application Server — Multiple catalog servers in a WebSphere cell fail to start.

• Memory leak using ObjectGrid for HTTP session replication.
• When a value is fetched from the loader, an exclusive lock is obtained erroneously at commit.
• NullPointerException seen in logs when using LRUEvictor with a large load, evicting and inserting same values.
• NoSuchMethodError occurs after applying 6.1.0.2 when starting an ObjectGrid standalone container in a WebSphere environment.
• ConcurrentModificationException making MBean invocations on the ContainerMBean
• The EntityManager OrderBy setting did not handle an empty collection of children
• EntityManager flush did not mark transaction to rollback only
• OptionalDataException occasionally seen with async replication when using ObjectGrid for HTTP session replication addObjectGridFilter.sh gets a syntax error on Solaris^TM
• Several optimizations for performance.
