• DataGrid API fails to rollback transactions — If the agent throws a runtime exception, the agent does not properly roll back the transaction and the client might receive a java.lang.NullPointerException.
• DataGrid API fails to run on partitions without a key — In a partitioned environment while using keys for routing purposes, the DataGrid API does not run on partitions when the key does not exist
• Entity insert operations are not applied in the same order that they were performed — Entities are not stored in the map in the same order that they are inserted. If a transaction inserts multiple entities, the entries are not persisted to the ObjectGrid in the same order that the transaction inserted them.
• EntityManager does not allow package-protected entity classes — ProjectorException registering an entity that does not have the public modifier on the class.
• Errors updating distributed cache after a new ObjectGrid server starts in a cluster — A KeyNotFoundException or DuplicateKeyException may be thrown when inserting data into a distributed ObjectGrid map, or an asynchronous replica may log message CWOBJ1523I (Received a duplicate transaction...) message after an additional server in an ObjectGrid cluster starts.
• Inconsistent ObjectMap.getNextKey method behavior — The ObjectMap.getNextKey method can exhibit several incorrect behaviors.
• java.lang.NullPointerException in container configuration when container bootstraps to the stand-by catalog service — A java.lang.NullPointerException is thrown when an ObjectGrid container bootstraps to the stand-by catalog service instead of the master catalog service.
• Multiple host port entries are ignored when connecting to the ObjectGrid — All entries but the first host:port are ignored connecting from a client to an ObjectGrid catalog service cluster.
• Non default time-to-live is incorrect on a new replica — If the default time-to-live is modified for cache entries using the ObjectMap.setTimeToLive method, the time-to-live value for the entries with these custom times to live will be wrong on a new replica that comes up.
• ObjectGrid server port bind exception — A port bind exception may occur when many ObjectGrid servers are started in parallel.
• PersistenceException using getEntityManager from a loader — When the ObjectGrid is configured using an ObjectGrid descriptor XML file, the getEntityManager method will throw a PersistenceException.
• Shard placement fails once a single WebSphere-hosted ObjectGrid container terminates — If one member of a WebSphere Application Server cluster is started, which in turn starts an ObjectGrid container and the cluster member is terminated after the shard is placed into that container, then the catalog service may not be properly notified of the terminated container.
• Slow performance while cascading persistent entities — Slow performance while cascading persistent entities due to the EntityManager incorrectly attempting to find the child entity in an attempt to update it if it already exists.
• The EntityManager remove method does not throw an IllegalArgumentException exception for key-less entities — The remove method currently does not throw an java.lang.IllegalArgumentException exception on entities without keys and unpredictable results might occur.
• Transaction exceptions invoking AgentManager — The AgentManager may throw a NoActiveTransactionException or a TransactionAlreadyActiveException.
• Unable to disable near cache when using the optimistic lock strategy — Setting the numberOfBuckets setting on the backing map to 0 does not disable the near cache for an ObjectGrid client when using a client override ObjectGrid descriptor file.
