WebSphere Extended Deployment Data Grid 6.1.0.2, which includes ObjectGrid 6.1.0.2, includes several bug fixes and one new feature. ObjectGrid 6.1 Fix Pack 2 (6.1.0.2) supersedes ObjectGrid 6.1.0.1 cumulative fix 2.

Features and enhancements

• HTTP Session Configuration API
  The ObjectGrid HTTP session manager plug-in can now be configured programmatically using the HttpSessionConfigurationUtility allowing greater flexibility in diverse deployment environments.

Bug fixes

• Cannot specify catalog server location on single server profile — The WebSphere Application Server administrative console does not allow for updating the cell level properties on a single server profile.
• Entity associations cannot be removed — Entity associations that are set to null or cleared from a client might not be updated in a partitioned ObjectGrid.
• Spliced web application fails to start if ObjectGrid is unavailable — Web applications fail to start if spliced to use the ObjectGrid HTTP session manager plug-in and the ObjectGrid is not started.
