Problem

ObjectGrid shards are not placed on WebSphere Application Server processes that host more than one enterprise application.

When two or more ObjectGrid-enabled applications are started in the same WebSphere Application Server process, only one ObjectGrid container is started. This causes only one of the shards for the application to be placed.

Cause

The ObjectGrid integration with WebSphere Application Server does not support having more than one ObjectGrid container in one application server.

Workaround

Install only one ObjectGrid-enabled enterprise application to a WebSphere Application Server process.

Solution

Apply ObjectGrid cumulative intermediate fix 3.
