Informix Performance Tuning Bootcamp
Overview
This technical workshop is for IBM Business Partners. It provides training on Monitoring, Tuning, and Troubleshooting techniques for the IBM Informix Server, in a classroom setting. Detailed presentations and hands-on labs are included where attendees will gain in-depth knowledge of tools and techniques for:
- Tuning the Server and associated Utilities
- Tuning for Decision Support Systems (Warehouses)
- Monitoring and Debugging
- SQL Query Analysis and Tuning
- Increased Concurrency
- Client-Server Tuning
- Best Practices on Database Design, Administration, and High Availability
At the end of the bootcamp, attendees can take the M68 IBM Information Management Informix Technical Mastery Test at no-charge. Those who have successfully passed the M68 test are encouraged to take the 919 IBM Informix 11.70 System Administrator during the workshop at no-charge.
Prerequisite: The material is presented at a technical level assuming a working knowledge of Informix. Intermediate knowledge of Informix and/or prior attendance of the Informix 11 Bootcamp is required.
