InfoSphere Optim Solutions for Distributed Systems Bootcamp
Overview
InfoSphere Optim for Distributed Systems offers solutions that target the enterprise's application retirement, data growth, test data management, and data masking challenges. IBM InfoSphere Optim Archive solution is designed to help controlling data growth challenges or retiring legacy application without jeopardizing data retention compliance. With Optim Archiving, enterprises can archive inactive data to control data growth and improve performance/reduce costs of production databases. You can also learn how Optim archived data can be continuously accessed by reporting tools. The InfoSphere Optim Test Data Management Solution are designed to help you build safe and secure test environments that take up minimal system resources and that can be quickly and easily refreshed. This helps organizations improve test process flexibility, increase test quality, and dramatically reduce the time needed for the testing effort. The InfoSphere Optim Data Masking offers masking of sensitive data using privacy policies, that can be applied as in-place masking or to data sub-sets such as test data. The new Designer tool simplifies the development and maintenance of all Optim solutions.
