InfoSphere Information Server Bootcamp
Overview
This technical workshop is for IBM Business Partners. It provides training on IBM Information Server, IBM InfoSphere Foundation Tools, and a basic introduction to IBM InfoSphere DataStage and IBM InfoSphere QualityStage in a classroom setting. Detailed presentations and hands-on labs are included, where attendees will gain in-depth knowledge of products including:
- business term management with Business Glossary
- data discovery and transformation discovery with InfoSphere Discover
- data analysis with Information Analyzer
- data modeling with Data Architect
- mapping specification between source and target with FastTrack
- data lineage verification with Metadata Workbench
- handling of data quality with the data cleansing phases of QualityStage
- design of data transformation jobs with DataStage
Business Partners with applications that need to understand data mappings between systems, the quality of data, and transform / move data between disparate systems can add value to customers solutions and extend their market opportunities. Business consulting services that need to load warehouses and business analysis databases on different database platforms and systems can also benefit from this training.
