Recommended and Validated Environments for DB2 and DB2 Connect 9.7

All environments listed on this page have been "Validated" and tested rigorously for compatibility with DB2 and DB2 Connect 9.7 servers and clients. Deployments on these environments are officially supported by IBM. The subset of distributions on which IBM builds and deploys extensively are listed as "Recommended".

Notes:
The only 32 bit Kernel architecture listed above is x86. Only one install image per architecture is supplied with DB2 9.7. This image will contain native binaries. In the case of 64 bit architectures, 32 bit binaries (required for 32 bit DB2 applications and 32 bit external routine support) will be included.
 
DB2 9.7 Enterprise Server Edition is only supported on 64 bit architectures. A 32 bit installation image is available for testing and evaluation purposes only.
