Updated version: TWS LoadLeveler Service Update 5.1.0.3 for AIX is available.
This update provides corrective fixes for previous levels of TWS LoadLeveler v5.1.0 on AIX.
Updated Restriction information
For LL 5.1.0.2+ Restriction:
- The default value for the collective_groups keyword will always be 0 even when the node_usage keyword is set to not_shared applies only to LL 5.1.0.2.
- When submitting a batch job that uses Collective Acceleration Unit (CAU) groups, the MP_COLLECTIVE_GROUPS environment variable must specify the number of collective groups to be used by the job.
- If the PREEMPTION_SUPPORT keyword is set to full in the LoadLeveler configuration file:
- The collective_groups keyword or MP_COLLECTIVE_GROUPS environment variable cannot be specified for preemptable jobs.
- The node_usage keyword must be set to not_shared in the job command file for all preemptable jobs only affects service updates up to LL 5.1.0.2.
- If the PREEMPTION_SUPPORT keyword is set to no_adapter in the LoadLeveler configuration file and the collective_groups keyword
or the MP_COLLECTIVE_GROUPS environment variable is set, you must set the following environment variables for the job:
- LAPI_DEBUG_COMM_TIMEOUT=yes
- MP_DEBUG_COMM_TIMEOUT=yes
