HMC Reboot

The HMC itself can be rebooted by loging to HMC with SSH, as user ''hscroot'', and issueing the command

 hmcshutdown -r -t0

LPAR Reboot

A given LPAR partition may be rebooted using either the HMC graphical interface, or the command line interface. The command-line may be used by logging with ssh, as user ''hscroot'', and issueing the command

 chsysstate -r lpar -m MACHINE_NAME -o shutdown --immed --restart --id LPARID (or -n LPARNAME)
