Welcome to the DB2 wiki.  The purpose of this wiki is to provide technical information about using DB2 on Windows/Unix/Linux platforms.  Of course, this is not intended to be a replacement for the DB2 Information Center.  Rather its designed consolidate and supplement other sources of DB2-related information from IBM in a slightly less formal manner.

If you are interested in contributing content or assist with maintaining this wiki, kindly request write access sending an email to db2x@ca.ibm.com. Please be sure to include your name, your company name, and your developerWords screenname in your email so you can quickly be granted access to the wiki.

This wiki is developed primarily for DB2 Express-C users, who may not have access to all the same documentation and support from IBM that our paying customers do.  DB2 Express-C is a free edition of DB2 which is available to download, install, use, deploy, all free of charge.  You can get also check the main DB2 Express-C web site for more info about DB2 Express-C, and you can download DB2 Express-C for free here.  The md5sum values for the downloads are available on the Download information child page.
