The human task Portlet Generator is a new addition to WebSphere® Integration Developer 6.2. This tutorial provides instructions on how to create a process portlet application using the Portlet Generator wizard.

Overview

Process portal plays a key role in certain service-oriented architecture (SOA) applications. Yet, application integration between portal and process server is usually not an easy task because it requires programming efforts and consumes time. Now, WebSphere Integration Developer provides a Portlet Generator wizard that significantly improves the development process.

Objectives

  • Learn how to rapidly build a business process application.
  • Learn how to customize a human task portlet with minimal effort.
