Conclusion
In this tutorial, we described how and why you would use Ajax in your
portal applications. We also built a fully functional portlet
application that uses Ajax in several areas. We also introduced you to
the tightly coupled technologies involved with DHTML manipulation.
While it is impossible to examine all conceivable uses of Ajax and
WebSphere Portal in this tutorial, it was our intention to whet your
appetite to learn, and to apply this exciting technology into your
future application development toolkit.
