This article describes the IBM WebSphere Everyplace Connection Manager virtual private network (VPN) architecture and many of the configuration parameters that affect its performance. Its purpose is to educate Connection Manager administrators on the tuning parameters available between the mobile access services properties on the Connection Manager and the connection properties on the Mobility Client.
