Oct 2006 This simple subscription service provides an example of Enterprise JavaBeans 2.0 container-managed relationships. It models many-to-many bidirectional relationships and gives you an opportunity to explore these with the subscribers and topics in the sample.
This sample was developed and configured using WebSphere Studio Application Developer Version 5.0.1.
Hardware requirements
The hardware requirements for this sample are the same as for WebSphere Application Server Versions 5.0.1 and 5.0.2.
Software requirements
Supported operating systems
This sample runs on all operating systems that are supported by WebSphere Application Server Version 5.0.1. It has been tested on Windows® 2000 Service Pack 3, AIX® 5.1 ML2, and RedHat Linux Advanced Server 2.1.
Installation instructions
To install the Subscription Service sample, download the ZIP file (below) and unarchive it to a directory of your choice.
After unarchiving, open the index.html file located in the <your-unzip-location>/SubscriptionServiceSample
directory. This file includes instructions on how to install, configure and run the sample
