Included in this set of samples are:
- A stock quote
- Two address books
- An Enterprise JavaBean
- A sample that sends a message
- A calculator
- A mime client
- A DB2 stored procedure
- Two digital security samples
Hardware requirements
The hardware requirements for this sample are the same as for WebSphere Application Server Versions 5.0.
Software requirements
- WebSphere Application Server Version 5.0
- IBM DB2 Version 7.2, Fixpack 6 is used by the DB2 stored procedure sample
- Web browser: Internet Explorer 5.x or Netscape 4.79 or higher
Supported operating systems
This sample runs on all operating systems that are supported by WebSphere Application Server Version 5.0. They have been tested on Windows® NT and 2000, AIX® 4.3.3, AIX 5.1, RedHat 2.1, and Solaris 8. A separate version of these samples has been developed for and tested on the iSeries operating system.
Installation instructions
To install the SOAP samples, download the ZIP file (below) and unarchive it to a directory of your choice. After
unarchiving, open the readme.html file for instructions on how to install, configure, and run the samples
