Oct 2006 The FormLogin sample demonstrates how to use WebSphere Application Server login facilities to implement and configure login applications. The sample uses the J2EE form-based login technology, servlet filters, and the form-based logout function that is an IBM extension to the J2EE specification.
This sample was developed and configured using WebSphere Studio Application Developer Version 5.0.1.
Hardware requirements
The hardware requirements for this sample are the same as for WebSphere Application Server Versions 5.0.1 and 5.0.2.

Supported operating systems
This sample runs on all operating systems that are supported by WebSphere Application Server Version 5.0.1. It has been tested on Windows® 2000 Service Pack 3, AIX® 5.1 ML2, and RedHat Linux Advanced Server 2.1. A separate version of these
samples has been developed for and tested on the iSeries operating system.
Installation instructions
To install the FormLogin sample, download the ZIP file (below) and unarchive it to a directory of your choice.
After unarchiving, open the index.html file located in the <your-unzip-location>/FormLoginSample
directory. This file includes instructions on how to install, configure and run the sample
