This collection of four technology previews accompanies WebSphere Studio V5.0.1 and WebSphere Application Server - Express V5.0.1 and includes: UML Visualizer, WSDL Editor and Explorer, Web Site Designer, and Active Script Debugger.

This collection of technology previews accompanies WebSphere® Studio V5.0.1 and WebSphere Application Server Express V5.0.1, and includes:

UML Visualizer

WebSphere Studio Application Developer only: The UML (Unified Modeling Language) Visualizer lets you create, edit, and print UML class diagrams containing views of EJB and Java™ classes and interfaces, and helps you understand important aspects of a J2EE applications.

WSDL Editor and Explorer

Web Site Designer is a Web authoring tool. With Web Site Designer, you can:

• Create a Web site whose pages have a consistent theme.
• Customize the layout and style of the theme to suit your needs.
• View the entire Web site, then add and delete pages using a tree view of the site structure.
• Automatically generate navigation links using JSP custom tags.

Active Script Debugger

The Active Script Debugger enables you to detect and diagnose errors in embedded client-side scripts from a Web page (*.htm, *.html or *.jsp) displayed by Microsoft® Internet Explorer. It also hosts and lets you debug stand-alone scripts with *.vbs or *.js file extensions, With the Active Script Debugger, you can control the execution of the script by setting line breakpoints, suspending launches, stepping through code, and examining and changing the contents of variables.

Get the technology preview

Before accessing this collection of technology previews from WebSphere Studio or WebSphere Application Server - Express, you must install the V5.0.1 Fix Pack. To access the Fix Pack, start either WebSphere Studio Application Developer, WebSphere Studio Site Developer, or WebSphere Application Server Express, and select Help => Update Manager. Then download and install the V5.0.1 Fix Pack.

To download the collection of technology previews, select Help => Update Manager again. Link to the download page and download and install the technology previews.
