IBM SDK for Node.js

Execute server-side JavaScript with this new SDK for IBM platforms.

Overview

The IBM SDK for Node.js ™ provides a stand-alone JavaScript ® runtime and server-side JavaScript solution for IBM platforms. It provides a high-performance, highly scalable, event-driven environment with non-blocking I/O that is programmed with the familiar JavaScript programming language.

The IBM SDK for Node.js ™ is based on the Node.js ™ open source project. It provides a compatible solution for IBM Power ™ , Intel ® and z Systems ™ products that require Node.js ™ functionality and package management.

The IBM SDK for Node.js Version 1.2 is equivalent to the Joyent Node.js API version 0.12.7.

The IBM SDK for Node.js Version 1.1 is equivalent to the Joyent Node.js API version 0.10.40.

Note: You must read and follow the instructions in the Late breaking information ( Version 1.2, Version 1.1 ) before trying to download and install the Mac OS X package. The OS X operating system has an 'Allow apps downloaded from' setting that might prevent you from successfully installing the downloaded package.
