Learn by example how to create an external user-defined function (UDF) on DB2 for z/OS that can read z/OS Unix System Services (USS) files and z/OS data sets. You can then use existing SQL built-in functions and your own UDFs to perform data manipulation on the information stored in the data sets and files.
