Knowledge paths are focused learning guides that bring together diverse training resources for IT professionals, such as how-to articles, discussion forums, educational videos and podcasts, and hands-on exercises. These resources are specifically chosen by subject matter experts to guide you from conceptual awareness to task mastery.

Online learning resources

  • developerWorks tutorials: Learn more about IBM products by taking a no-charge tutorial.
  • IBM Education Assistant: The IBM Education Assistant is a collection of multimedia educational modules that can help you gain a better understanding of IBM products and use them more effectively.
  • On demand demos: These quick product walk-throughs range from installation and setup demos for beginners, to advanced functionality for experienced developers.
  • Podcasts and videos: These podcasts are interviews and discussions on topics vital to software developers but all are invited to attend. You may subscribe to the RSS feeds to be notified of new podcasts as soon as they are available.

Attend no-charge technical events

  • IBM Innovation Centers workshops and technical seminars: The worldwide IBM Innovation Centers offer a wide range of no-charge workshops, seminars and briefings conducted by highly trained subject matter experts. Workshops are offered in 2 formats—traditional classroom and virtual. Hands-on exercises are included in both formats.
  • IBM developerWorks Live!: These briefings are worldwide, always free, and cover the latest topics related to IBM software and technologies. Find briefings in your area.
