The Academic Initiative members can request vouchers to take many Power Systems IBM instructor-led courses at no cost.
Enrollment process
- Click on the course you want to take in the course catalog to review available locations and dates.
- Education Vouchers are subject to certain terms and conditions. Review these terms and conditions prior to
requesting an educator voucher.
- To request an Education Voucher, send an e-mail with Education Voucher Request in the subject line to
powerskills@us.ibm.com. Include the following information in the body of the e-mail:
- Educator's name
- Educator's e-mail
- Mailing address where the hardcopy Education Voucher should be sent
- Telephone number
- Educational Institution name
- IBM course name
- IBM course code
- IBM course date
- IBM course location
- You will receive a note from the Power Systems Academic Initiative team with further enrollment instructions.
Terms and conditions
The availability of the Power Systems Education Vouchers are subject to the following terms and conditions:
- Coupon may only be redeemed by a requesting educator with an active membership in the IBM Academic Initiative program.
- Coupon is valid for a variety of Power Systems public classes in the IBM Course Catalog – check with Power Systems team for availability.
- One Education Voucher is redeemable for each course.
- The Power System Education Voucher is valid ONLY for the designated course listed on the coupon.
- The Education Voucher is not valid if the coupon is reproduced.
- The Education Voucher is not valid with any other coupon, discount or offer. Education Vouchers may currently be used for courses offered in the US – other countries will soon be eligible for these coupons.
- Maximum Value: 100% discount
- The Education Voucher will be sent after the class has been confirmed.
- IBM is not responsible for providing replacement Education Vouchers.
- YOU MUST BRING YOUR VOUCHER TO CLASS AND TURN IT INTO YOUR INSTRUCTOR AT THE BEGINNING OF THE FIRST DAY OF YOUR CLASS. This is the ONLY way you can be assured you will receive your class for free. If you turn in your voucher on the first day of the class, you will not receive a bill for the class.
- IBM Training reserves the right to cancel any course 10 business days out from the Monday of the week the course is running. Each student is responsible for any costs which may be incurred due to lack of available classes or class cancellations, or his or her inability to attend a scheduled class. Therefore, it is highly recommended that only reimbursable travel arrangements be made or that travel arrangements not be made until class confirmation has been received.
