Although IT SOA and governance policies may seem to fall under the responsibilities of a systems administrator, IT planner/designer, or even a CTO, it’s never too early in your career to start learning how to write a policy that defines the infrastructure, security, performance, or public interaction frameworks within which your collection of applications will run. Besides, at the heart of each good IT administrator is a top-notch developer and programmer. Skip this section if you know the basics of IT policies.
