Prior to that, he has worked in Rational PurifyPlus, Java leak analysis in Rational Application Developer (RAD), and briefly in Rational Rose. He has 10 years of software engineering experience. His interests include software engineering tools, static & runtime program analysis, compilers, programming languages, type theory, and software development environments. His research work has been published in ACM/IEEE conferences. He has also written several developerWorks articles. He received a B.Tech. from the Indian Institute of Technology in Kanpur (India), and an M.S. from the University of Wisconsin in Milwaukee (USA). He is an amateur Hindi poet and an avid tourist.
