Hi all, I am trying to deploy a sample Metadata spec project on InfoSphere MDM Server. Hi there. I ve setup the *MDM 8.5 Workbench on RSA 7.0.0.7 successfully* and even *enrolled the license* using the foll. command- java -cp ./Enroll.jar;./lum/LUMClient.jar;. com.ibm.mdm.license.Enroll -e MDM.LIC But while running "*Installation Verification*", I get the error below on the console. I ve done everything I could including clean all, build all, restart WAS, republish MDM to WAS... But still no luck. Hi there. I was trying to *setup MDM 8.5 workbench in RSA v7.5*, but I got *stuck at step* 9, i.e. "*Deploy MDM Server To WebSphere Profile*". Whether you re going to IOD or not, you can keep up with some of what s happening by subscribing to this conference feed. The feed is a bit of an experiment using the Lotus Greenhouse hosted InfoSphere Mashup Hub. So far it includes Kate s developerWorks blog, Scott s developerWorks podcasts and Twitter messages. Let me know if there are any other feeds it would be useful to add and, for a future feed mashup, are there any specific MDM Workbench feeds out there yet?

Let s say we have two Party records: Person A with First Name "aaa", Last Name "bbb", DoB 01/01/1980 and a full Address X (Party ID 1) Person B with First Name "ccc", Last Name "ddd", DoB 01/01/1970 and a full Address Y (Party ID 2) Now we get an updateParty request for Person B with all the relevant idPK and LastUpdateDate values. However, the request is to change the values of Person B to be exactly like Person A. According to the documentation, the parties should be automatically merged (A1 match). Hello, As part of some tests, I added several Persons with the same name. Due to business needs (different roles) I m trying to add the same Person twice in the same transaction (using addParty with intention that the SDP would match them). Hi All, I am getting an error message saying, "Insufficient Search Criteria supplied" when I run searchPerson transaction using following soap message fragment via Web services call. 12345 PC 7 pc@ibm.com However, the transaction gives me expected result when I run with same inputs from my workspace. I have successfully updated my RAD to 7.0.0.8 using installation manager Update feature. Now from installation manager select Modify (to add feature). Select features (previous were not installed) "Web Services feature pack" and "IBM Websphere Server Version 6.1 feature pack for Web Services" and click Modify However it failed with the following message. Dear all, For my project I would like to use the transformation capabilities of RSA. I have designed an UML model, which could be seen as the PIM, which I would like to transform to code for three different platforms, namely SQL, EBJ and JSP. The UML model should be transformed to a relational db (for example DB2) with an the EJB components for the basic CRUD functions and a JSP based webinterface for displaying the records. Hi, We are using IBM Infosphere CDC for replicating data from Source to target. We have a query in using this tool, i.e. is there any way or option to insert a new row into the target table instead of just overwriting the change. For e.g: 1. Lets suppose that emp1 and emp2 are the source and target tables. 2. These have columns eno, ename. 3. On first replication process, all the data is moved to target. 4. Now, the data in the existing records is modified like ename is modified from "abc" to "def" in an existing record. 5. When we again run the replication process, the record is getting overwritten with "def" in the target table. Our requirement is such that a new record should be inserted in the target table with the changes, instead of overwriting the existing record. I want to add some columns into the middle of a table but the add column in the diagram tool and in the data project explorer both append the new column at the bottom of the table. I have a 200 element table and I need to handle a source system upgrade where 26 new columns have been inserted into the middle of the table. I cannot find any command to insert a column into the middle of existing columns. Hey, I would like to know how to open a physical data model (from a design project) using the API. I know how to "traverse" a schema if this schema is currently selected into the project explorer but how can I retrieve this schema if I only have the .dbm filename ? I would like to have a standard set of attributes and foreign key relations repeated on many tables. For example; Created By User Name, Created by Date and Time, etc. Is there a simple way to set up such a group just the once and then include them on various tables without having to copy them eveytime? Ideally if I want to add/change something about the set of common attributes then I need only change it once and it would automatically percolate through to wherever it is used.... - Generate left delta DDL doesn't start wizard

Hi there, I m using IDA version 7.5.2, when I do a compare between an DB2 schema and a schema in my physical data model several differences appear in the compare editor. After copying from right to left the "Generate left delta DDL" button becomes available but when pushing this button nothing happens, anybody any idea what s wrong ?
